The IGRC2014 team warmly welcomes the new French IGU Presidency
Introducing the new theme for the IGU Triennium 2012-2015 "Growing together towards a friendly planet" the new French IGU Presidency took over IGU leadership from Malaysia at the closing of the World Gas Conference on June 8, 2012 in Kuala Lumpur. The next World Gas Conference takes place in Paris, June 1-5, 2015.
The IGRC2014 team warmly welcomes the French Presidency under the leadership of Jérôme Ferrier. We look forward to a close cooperation and we will do our utmost to further expand the role of IGRC as a successful member of the IGU congress portfolio. IGRC2014 Global Ambassadors Network off to a good start
"IGRC2014 Ambassadors" have been appointed for more than 60 countries potentially participating with delegates in IGRC2014 in Copenhagen. The global network of IGRC2014 Ambassadors will help promote the conference and make it the premier true global gas R&D/technology event. We had the opportunity to meet many of our ambassadors at the recent World Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur. We are pleased to report that there is a strong commitment amongst members of the IGU family and friends of IGU to help spread information about the conference and support the planning as much as possible. Good progress on first Technical Programme Committee meeting
The IGRC2014 Technical Programme Committee (TPC) had its first meeting on June 2, 2012 in Kuala Lumpur immediately before the opening of the World Gas Conference. The TPC is chaired by Jack Lewnard, Gas Technology Institute, US. The TPC Secretary is Rod Rinholm, Gas Technology Institute, US. The committee discussed the overall structure of the technical programme identifying possible session topics and future technology game changers for the gas industry. Gas Innovations Inspiring Clean Energy
The gas system is an essential part of any cost-effective and viable solution to provide a greener energy future and innovations are changing the role natural gas and other energy gases will play in the global

Who will be there?
IGRC2014 delegates will be gas technology executives, gas engineers and researchers as well as market professionals and technology investors who understand that innovation and technology are essential for the future gas industry business model. Delegates will come from the global energy industry, research
organisations, academia, governments, international organisations, and the business and financial
