Job well done - record setting programme in place

The IGRC2014 Paper Committee has finalised selecting 403 high quality technical papers out of 763 proposals for the Copenhagen IGRC2014 conference. Paper authors come from 38 different countries around the world.
All authors have been notified about the acceptance of their paper by April 1, 2014. Papers will be presented in 20 oral sessions, 8 workshop sessions and 10 poster sessions covering the entire gas chain from well head to burner tip. It will be a record setting programme both in terms of the number of papers presented and the topics covered. Read more about the programme here

How innovations change the gas market

The gas market is rapidly changing as a result of new innovative technologies both within exploration, production, gas transport and end-use. IGRC2014 is dedicated to show how technology will be the key to the future business model for gas growth. These are the issues to be discussed in the Panel Discussion "How innovations change the gas market" that will take place during the IGRC2014 Opening Plenary chaired by
Ulco Vermeulen, Managing Director Business development and Participations, Gasunie, The Netherlands.
Highly knowledgeable and experienced international energy experts will sit in the panel:

  • Professor Nobuo Tanaka, University of Tokyo, JAPAN. Also member of the IGU Wise Persons' Group
  • Dr. Michael Weinhold, CTO, Siemens Energy, GERMANY
  • Seok-hyo Jang, CEO & President, Korea Gas Corporation, KOREA

Register now - make sure you get your preferences

Registration is open and the early bird discount (save 100 €) runs until June 1.
However, if you want to be sure to get your preferred hotel, tours, etc. we recommend you register in near future. We have have a limited number of rooms reserved for IGRC2014 delegates at the Tivoli Hotel. They will be alotted to delegates on a first-come-first-served basis - so act now if you would like a room at the Tivoli Hotel under the same roof as the conference venue. Copenhagen is easy to reach with numerous international flights going to Kastrup, the international airport located within 15 minutes by car/train from the city center and Tivoli Congress Center - the IGRC2014 venue.
