Poster sessions

A poster paper at IGRC2014 is presented in the form of a poster placed on a poster board and must be manned by the paper author for (minimum) the designated one hour poster session during the conference. During the one hour poster session it is the intention that the poster author can enter into a fruitful dialogue with the attending conference delegates. All posters remain on exhibit for the entire duration of the conference and the poster author may be present at his poster board also outside the designated poster session time slot if he chooses so.

The poster board size is as follows: height 120 cm (margin 2,5 cm), width 90 cm (margin 2,5 cm).
Please write your Paper Code (e.g. WP1-13) in the upper left corner using font size 34 pt.
We furthermore recommend:

  • paper title (poster heading): use font size 40 pt
  • presenting author name: use font size 34 pt
  • poster text: use font size 24 pt
The IGRC2014 organisers will provide you with the necessary materials for fixing your poster to the poster board. The poster author must prepare a high quality poster and bring it to the conference for mounting on the poster board either Tuesday September 16 17.00-19.00 hrs. or Wednesday September 17 before 08.30. Posters can be removed Friday, September 19 14.30-15.30 hrs.

If you need help printing your poster Holmud offers assistance with quality poster print and additional desktop work charged by the hour. Find more information and the ordering form.

The poster must reflect the main points of the poster paper: problem, methodology, results, conclusions, etc. in an attractive graphic design. The conference proceedings will be published online via www.igrc2014.com after the conference and will be permanently available at the IGU website www.igu.org.
